Question and Answers

Q:

What does "F1" error code indicate?

A:

The "F1" fault code generally indicates a failed transistor on the Electronic Oven Control board. Since you did not submit the complete model number I cannot verify the part# or the availability of the control board. There is a good chance the control board is no longer available new. You will likely have to call a service technician and have him send the control off to have it re manufactured.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your range.

I have a Kenmore built in oven model 790.40459801 that displayed the F1 code. It is only a year old just out of warranty. Is my problem the same and is the part available?
