Q:

bake doesn't work unless I turn breaker off and on. 790.30179400

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you're having with the bake feature tripping the breaker. I know how frustrating that is.

You probably have a short to ground somewhere within the wiring of the bake ignitor to the control. That would be the most likely instance. There could also be a shorting relay on the electronic control. Outside of that, the electrical breaker may be weak and in need of replacement. In cases like this, we would recommend having a service technician help with the diagnosis as there are a few possibilities on what the issue could be.

If you would feel more confident have a Sears Home Service technician help assist with the diagnosis/repair, you can call 1-800-469-4663, or click here to be directed to the page to set up service.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
