Thank you for your question.  I am sorry for the problem with your MTD Lawn mower.  Changing the blades should not have caused any problem.  The image below contains information about this mower safety switches.  I suspect the clip holding the PTO cable fell out and I would check this first.  You can reply below with any additional details or questions.

Stop using the furnace now if flames are rolling out of the burner. If there is flame roll out do not continue to troubleshoot the product. Call a professional to inspect the heat exchanger as well as the rest of the furnace.

If you were just having problems with the burners staying lit I would tell you that you have a loose ground wire somewhere in the cabinet but flame roll out is not something to ignore. Flame roll out could indicate that you have a cracked heat exchanger. If you do, you are moving carbon monoxide through the vents in the home. Again, I do not recommend running this appliance until it can be inspected and repaired.
