I know how important it is to have a good working dishwasher in the home so that you can keep your dishes nice and clean. While you are waiting for your expert answer, I suggest you add to the thread of this question and include the correct and full model number of your appliance so that the expert can provide you with a more detailed answer. I did manage to find a link that will provide you with some good information to help you with your question. I hope my link is useful.

Hi Peg,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I am sorry you are having problems with your dishwasher.

Since you mentioned that using vinegar helped, most likely it is the detergent you are using. Newer detergents do not contain phosphates and especially with hard water they leave the dishes covered in white film. The detergent was changed to help the environment. There are some products on the market that help with this. The one I use is Finish Glass Magic Dishwasher Performance Booster. Do a Google search for dishwasher detergent booster and there is a ton of information on the subject.

To check the water level in your dishwasher, start a cycle and let the dishwasher run in wash for a few minutes. Then carefully open the door and the water should be just above the top of the sump assembly to just below the heating element.

I recommend having a trained service technician evaluate this problem. You can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

I hope this is helpful. Check the things I have covered here and if I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Thanks again for using Manage My Life.

Why does our new Craftsman 4-cycle edger 77237 25A-515-799 handle have so much "play" in it?

The handle should not have play in it. I suggest looking at the instructions in the owners manual to see if the assembler at the store put the trimmer together correctly. You can download or print an owners manual at []. Enter the model number as 536.7723 to see the manual.

If you don't see something simple to correct the problem, exchange the edger for another one.
