If nothing works then the door latch is the usual suspect. The control is also a possibility but from the description you give I suspect the door switches. The wiring diagram below may help you verify the door switches are hooked up correctly. If you have a volt meter the door switches can be checked for continuity and if you are extremely comfortable with the meter checked for voltage. Let me know if you feel comfortable doing this and I'll offer some other checks to make.
