Q:

I get a "no manual found when I ask for one for my Humidifier - Model #758141060. Is there none available? 758141060 Kenmore Quiet comfort evap humidifier

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
I am sorry to hear about the issues you are having locating the owner's manual for this model, I know how frustrating that is to have occur.
Due to the age of this model, being manufactured in 1995, the owner's manual is no longer being printed and doesn't appear to be in circulation. Humidifiers aren't as common as major appliances like ranges or washers and dryers, which makes the literature a little more difficult to come by as time goes on.
I wasn't able to find the exact model's manual, but I did find one that you could reference that's a newer model. I wouldn't use the parts list for part numbers, but for general care and maintenance, this manual may be helpful.
If you need parts or diagrams, we would recommend plugging your model into SearsPartsDirect.com and that will provide all the diagrams and parts lists for the unit.
For convenience, I have included a blue link below that you may click on to be directed to the PartsDirect page to view and download the manual I found. Hope it helps.

Q:

Is it possible to remove the UPPER housing in order to clean the fan blades on the humidifier model 758.144105?

A:

I can understand how important it is to have the right information for your humidifier. From what it looks like, yes you can remove the upper housing to clean the fan. The upper housing has notches for the stems on the lower housing to fit into. Once you remove the screws, the upper housing should like right off. Just be careful not to damage any of the wiring from the controls. This will give you access to the fan. Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help. Thank you for using Manage My Life.com.

Q:

What's wrong with this humidifier?

A:

This is an unusual situation! We have checked with the source and if possible we would like some feed back from you. First, would it be possible, for you to send us, a picture of the filter. Second, we would like to know what type of cleaner solution you're using and finally, where are you using the humidifier (if in a particular location)? If you can provide this information, it will be very helpful in determining what the solution is. Thank you.
