I should be able to help you with the icemaker problem. I was not able to get the model number to pull up for me. If you could please double check the model number and reply back with it below. It is best to have the model number off the refrigerator instead of the stock number off the manual. The model number is usually located in the refrigerator on the sidewalls near the top.

Thank you for the model number. I have provided you with an image below of the wiring diagram. If you are checking voltage to the icemaker, the door switch has to be closed. If you have voltage to the icemaker with the door closed, you can carefully place an insulated jumper between T and H on the icemaker module. Then hold down the door switch. This should make the icemaker go into a harvest. Once the icemaker starts to turn and you hear a click, you can release the door switch and remove the jumper. Then hold the door switch again. Just before the motor stops rotating, the icemaker should fill with water. Let me know if you need further assistance.

It is possible that the lamp is burned out on the fireplace. Several other failures could prevent it from heating.

According to your description, the Dimplex model number of your fire place appears to be DFP4754E. You may need this model number to order parts and get technical help.
