Q:

Air con fault code Samsung air con Aqv09ewan

A:

That appears to be the correct code for your model. The E1 01 indicates a communication error on the inside unit electronic control board. I recommend that you disconnect power and check the wiring connections on the electronic control board. You may have a loose wiring connection.

If you need more help, let us know.

Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting to know what is causing the discoloring of the clothes in the washer.

Thank you for the picture but its a little hard to tell what the image is. I see a wall light switch and if you could back up a little we could get a better perspective of the image you want us to see.

I do not think that the sharp edge is causing the problem. It would have to be a sharp edge down inside the basket.

Due to the age of the washer and because it has a built in self cleaning lint filter under the wash and spin basket, I would suspect the lint filter is stop up with lint and calcium debris and is releasing it during the wash cycle.

You would have to remove the cabinet and spin basket to get to the lint filter to clean it.

The newer machines do not have this filter.

If you feel comfortable with removing the cabinet and basket please let me know and I will help you with information and pictures on how to do this.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Please reply if you need further help and I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for the update and the new picture. Is it possible that this could be bleach damage somehow? I cannot think of any part of the washer that could cause such a stain. I will give you some images and instructions on how to remove the basket. Repair Clinic.com has a great video to watch to see how to remove the basket. I have included a link to that video. I hope this will help with servicing your washer. Sam A.

Hello Denny. You should not have to replace the spanner nut but it would be helpful to have the wrench, but you could loosen and tighten it with a hammer and flat chisel punch. Just do not hit the inside of the porcelain basket with the hammer. The filter looks is a plastic cone type that is attached to the underside of the basket. The spanner nut is under the agitator, and you will see it once you remove it. Sam A.

The only other things that can come into play after the unloader valve for low/no pressure would be:

  • Wand problem. Clogged up or the pressure selector damaged.
  • Pump low or out of oil. Not very common, but we do see it from time to time.
  • Pump is damaged internally. Normally if that's the case it will not pump any water, even at low pressure.

It may benefit you to have the machine inspected by a technician if the first 2 I listed seem to be in order.
