Q:

Trimmer Head 725R Ryobi Trimmer

A:

Hello Craig,

Here are the steps to remove the trimmer head.

Remove the head from a gas-powered trimmer by first rotating it until the notch in the flange washer behind it lines up with the slot in the gear head.

Insert a thin straight metal rod, such as a 1/4-inch hex wrench, into the slot to block the shaft. If you still have it, use the blocking tool that Ryobi supplies with the trimmer for this. You may also use a screw driver.

Turn the head clockwise to unscrew it from the shaft. The head has reverse threads.

Removing the trimmer head from the shaft gives you a good opportunity to clean and lubricate the gear head.

Hope this helps.

Thank you,

Tristie Jones

Q:

Any idea where I can get an Endcap Foot for the Proform 725? PFTL72580 Proform Proform 725 ex treadmill

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

The front endcaps have since been discontinued and we no longer have supply. The part number for the LH is 149223 and the RH is 149225. I would try running an online Google search for the part numbers to see if there are any still in circulation you can find.

The rear endcap is still available. The part number is 151193.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

151193 is the endcap. I am in need of the rear Endcap Foot. I repaired a unit that was taken apart by another and there is one foot missing. I have tried searching for "proform 725 treadmill endcap foot part number 132455" in several different combinations but usually end up at the same sites that do not have the part, do not actually carry parts, or say the part is unavailable. Just hoped that someone might be able to narrow the search or have a helpful source.
