Q:

Removal 7218915081 Kenmore Microwave oven

A:

Thanks for using ManageMyLife.com

I am sorry, but we do not give repair information on microwave ovens because they are inherently dangerous to service. Microwaves contain high voltage internal components that can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is completely unplugged. Door repairs and adjustments, even minor ones, can cause microwave leakage, and a microwave shielding leakage test must be performed using a survey meter after any microwave service. That's why I strongly warn you to have this repair handled only by a qualified service technician. You can schedule service online with Sears Home Services or by calling 1-800-4-MY-HOME.
Normally at ManageMyLife.com we like to help you with all of your repairs, but our expert advice is that microwaves are just too dangerous.

Thanks for using ManageMyLife.com

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

We do not have the model specific installation instructions for this model. Looking at the parts image, there is two bolts that come down from inside the cabinet above the microwave which threads into blind nuts holding the front of the microwave up. The bottom rear of the microwave sits on a couple of tabs. If you have the two bolts taken out and the front will pivot down, you will need to let it pivot down some and lift the back up and off two tabs.

I added an image below of general instructions for hanging and mounting the over the range micro/vent combo.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Light on bottom of unit does not work, bulbs are good, I hear what sounds like a relay pull in when I select the light on/off button but no light? What do I check next?
