Thank you for your question.

I have taken the time to look up the model number you have submitted. The part number for the grille is 3530W0A002A. I tried to price the part but found the part is no longer available. If the grille still looks ok, you could use tape to hold it on. I have seen many customers do this. You need to clean the grille and the top of the microwave cabinet. Then have someone hold the grille in place while you place the tape on the top of the microwave cabinet and grille. If you place the tape on the top of the microwave cabinet, it will not be seen.

Please let me know if you need further assistance on the microwave.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

Why won't my Kenmore microwave model 721.67681790 control respond even though the lights come on?

A:

This type of problem is normally caused by a failed membrane keypad or a bad electronic control board. This type of internal component failure will need to be diagnosed and repaired by a service technician. Microwaves are inherently dangerous to service and are not considered a do-it-yourself type of repair. Internal capacitors can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is completely unplugged. A microwave radiation leakage test must be performed on the unit following any internal component repair. For these reason, I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair this microwave failure.
