Question and Answers

Q:

Everything looks like it is working properly but the food is not getting heated. Shouldn' I get some sort of message that something is wrong?

A:

I understand your Kenmore Microwave is not working properly and your food is still cold after timer went off. I found a question in Manage My Life under the Answers button that was similar to the one you asked. I think this question will give you some useful information, while your waiting on an expert answer. I attached the link below, I hope this helps!!!!!!

I am assuming you are trying to heat food with the microwave and not the toaster.

The microwave does have error codes that will display for certain failures. The microwave can have a failure without an error code.

Microwaves use high voltage to drive the magnetron tube and capacitors to store the voltage. It is possible to get a serious shock from a microwave that is unplugged.

For this reason I recommend you take the microwave to a Sears Parts and Service Center or a Sears Retail Store for repair. You can find the location nearest you at [www.searshomeservices.com].
