Question and Answers

Q:

Water leaking around filter. 795.72029.110

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
This issue sounds like missing or damaged orings on the filter stem that sticks into the housing, or if those check out, the issue could be with the filter housing itself. I would start by checking the filter, especially if this is a new issue, and make sure the orings are intact. If so, I would suspect the issue stems from the housing itself and may need replacement.
Hope this helps and let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

In order to provide any model specific instructions I will need to know the model number of your Kenmore gas range.

The model numbers are typically located above or below the oven cavity opening on the oven frame. If it has a broiler drawer or storage drawer, the model and serial number tag could be located on the oven frame behind the broiler/storage drawer.  If you could supply me with that information I will be happy to assist you further.

That is the Model number taken from the tag on the range. These are the Model numbers that appear on the manuals that I received with the unit. Hope this will be sufficient to indentify the range. 665.72002/72004/72012/72014/75002/75004/75012/75014 665.72022/72024/72029/75022/75024/75029 665.72023/75023/75842/75843/75844/75849

According to the numbers that you posted in in your details seems to indicate that you have a Kenmore range that begins with model number 665.72029 . . . That type of Kenmore range will display the E0 F2 code when a key is held down for too long or when you have a failure in the membrane keypad that mounted in the console. That part is circled in red on the image below. You can unplug the range and access the back of the electronic control board in the console to make sure that the ribbon wire connection for that membrane keypad is plugged into the electronic control board properly. You can also check for corrosion on the ribbon wire connection. Unplug that connection and clean the contacts if necessary. Plug the ribbon wire connection back into the electronic control board. Power up the range and see if the oven control will work properly. If that E0 F2 code returns, then you will probably need to replace that membrane keypad. You can order that part from this page: Kenmore Range Model 665.72029 . . . Parts . Use the full model number of your range to access the parts list diagram for your exact model on that website.

Be sure that you unplug the range before accessing internal components and replacing parts.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and the full model number of your range.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .
