Thank you for using ManageMyLife.com. I'm sorry to hear of the issue you are experiencing with the gas grill, I know how frustrating that can be.

Since two of the three aren't working properly, it doesn't sound like a regulator or manifold issue, as all of them would be affected in that regard.

I would recommend to start by taking off the affected burners and do a thorough cleaning on them. After the cleaning, do a very close examination. The orifice could be out of alignment or you could have an internal failure that is causing this problem. Outside of the burner, the only other logical part would be the gas valve for each burner behind the knob, if they were defective, it could cause a high flame issue. However, it sounds more like an orifice issue on the burner itself, and you may be able to correct it without having to purchase parts by cleaning and inspecting them.

For your convenience, I have included blue links below you can click on to be directed to the Parts Direct page to purchase the parts if applicable.

Thank you for your question as to whether you can convert your grill to Natural gas.

I did not see any kit in the owners manual so I called the support line from off the manual and they will research this and let you know by e-mail as to whether it can be converted.

Please let me know if they do not contact you.

I had a hard time finding a definitive answer for this as well. But (here's the good news) it turns out that 2 of the techs I work with have grills like yours. To directly answer your question: Yes, you may use both sides at the same time. Think of it as 2 grills that have nothing to do with one another except for sharing the same chassis. You can actively grill on both sides however you would grill on each type of fuel. Obviously you would not want a raging charcoal/wood fire burning on that side when you're lighting the gas side, but if you have a cooking sized fire on the charcoal side you should be able to light and use the gas side with no concerns outside of standard grilling safety.

I'm sorry it took so much for you to get an answer to that.

If we can be of any further assistance please let me know.

Happy Grilling!
