MY dishes are not getting cleaned. I discovered the the center wash arm (bottom), lower wash arm (middle) and upper wash arm (top) are not spinning or having water delivered to them. But, the red turbo zone sprayers ARE spraying water. Turbo zone is not selected, but only turbo zone is spraying. I took apart the assembly under the center wash arm, and it is clean, and not clogged. Help?

Thanks for the model number it always helps.

From the description you give I suspect the problem is with the water level.

One thing to check is the water level. It should be within 1/4 inch of the element. Check this in the first wash cycle and check this at the final rinse and see if the level is the same.

If the upper rack seems to be the problem then one trick is to place small cups in each corner of the upper and lower rack and let the dishwasher fill and wash a couple or minutes. Check the water level in each cup and it should be almost the same in each cup.

Water heat is vital to dissolving the soap. At the end of the cycle the water should be hot and the dishes should almost be to hot to pick up.

The filters in the sump may be clogged with food. The image below will help you access the sump to check the filters and chopper screen.

This should be a start to resolving this problem.

You can reply with any additional details for further assistance.

Hello, I have the same symptoms as the person above, I also have model 665.13113k701. Nothing on the top rack gets clean at all, and items on the bottom rack get slightly but not completely clean. There is plenty of water heat. I have also noticed that when the dishwasher is open, the point where the probe from the top rack joins the tube (referencing the parts on your web site at the link below), the tube does not seal, it's always open. When i move the top dish rack to the lower position, the top whole in the tube still remains open. Though I have tried running the dishwasher with the top rack in both the upper and lower positions and it doesn't clean any dishes on the top rack in either case. I wonder if I need a new tube piece. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Kenmore-elite-Parts/Dishwasher-Parts/Model-66513113K701/0583/0130000/K1105131/00007?blt=06&prst=&shdMod=

Will, if the docking port is not closing then there will be a loss of water pressure to the sprayarms. The W10077859 docking port is available from SearsPartsDirect. Here is the link: FeedTube .

The feed tube docking ports not sealing is not a commom problem but it can happen. If the problem just started and the dishwasher has not been moved recently then the docking ports being open is likely your problem.

Harvee, the water levels should all be the same. You can examine the holes in the upper spray arm and see if there is any sediment built up. If you have an adjustable upper rack then try raising/lowering it and see if the problem persists. Do you have the same model number as the one posted in the previous threads or do you have a different model number?

Thank You for submitting your question Leslie. I can definitely understand how the diagram can be confusing. The Spinner you are referring to would be located at the top of the tub, above the upper rack. The spinner faces down spraying water on top of your dishes. I hope this helps solve any confusion you are experiencing.
