Having an important kitchen appliance like a range begin to give you error codes can be very frustrating. I did some research and provided a link to a similar question and answer on our site. I hope this will shed a little more light on the issue until the Expert responds to your question in more detail within 24 to 48 hours.

I know that it can be very difficult to have you oven stop working properly. The "F3" fault code indicates an open oven temperature sensor or sensor circuit. The oven temperature sensor has likely failed.

The oven temperature sensor will need to removed and disconnected and tested for proper resistance. The oven temperature sensor probe should measure approximately 1100 ohms at room temperature.

The oven temperature sensor is located inside the oven cavity. It can be found protruding into the oven cavity in the upper left rear corner or in the upper right rear corner. It will be held in place with a couple of screws. Remove the screws and slowly pull it out and then disconnect the wires. If you find that it does not measure with approximately 1100 ohms or resistance, or if it measures open/no continuity, replace the temperature sensor probe. The part number of the sensor is WB21X5301 which can be ordered from Sears Parts Direct I added a YouTube video showing how to test the oven temperature sensor

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
