Moving does offer many challenges with appliances. I can understand wanting to remove the wheels.

Removing the refrigerator wheels may affect how the doors open and close and can affect the ventilation for the refrigerator. You may want to consider trimming the overhead if possible rather than removing the refrigerator wheels. I have added the refrigerator dimensions to help. Use the height with hinge figure.

You can also check the manual to see how to adjust the wheels all the way down. That may help to slide into the opening. You can view here; Manual .

Dimensions:

Total Capacity: 24.7 cu. ft. Refrigerator Capacity: 17.6 cu.ft. Freezer Capacity: 7.1 cu. ft. Depth, less door: 27-7/8 in. Depth, total with door open 46-1/2 in. Maximum Depth w/ handle: 34-1/4 in. Height w/out hinge: 68-3/4 in. maximum Height w/ hinge 69-3/4 in. Maximum Width: 35-3/4 in. Depth, less door handle: 31-3/4 in. Item Weight: 366.0 lbs Ratings/ Requirements: 120 volts, 60 Hz, 15 amps Kilowatt hours per year: 579

I hope this information helps to make the move a bit easier. Please respond if you need further assistance. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
