Q:

where can i get replacement brushes for the kenmore model 00=6030-1 item # 02084973000

A:

Finding replacement parts is not always easy. I found your model at Sear.com and next to product description is a link to the owner's manual which provides the parts numbers for your brushes. You can use the link to Sears Parts Direct to find what you need. I attached both links below. Hope this helps!

Q:

What mix of shampoo and water should I put in my Sears Model 680.84973. The manual states the mix stated on the shampoo product, butTheShampooStatesSeeManual

A:

The normal dilution ratio that I recommend would be 1:12. Since you have a 1 gallon container, you would need to add 10.67 oz. of cleaner to the 1 gallon tank (about 1 cup). This is a common dilution ration for many carpet cleaners. It should work for this type of cleaner in your machine.

Q:

How do I know how much liquid I have in the tank of my Kenmore Heavy Duty Floor Machine, model 680.84973?

A:

I am not able to get a reason for putting the graduations on the outside of the tank with no way to tell what the level of the liquid is inside the tank.

Try removing the tank from the machine and holding it up to a light and see if you can see through it. I am told this will let you see the liquid level.

Already tried to see the liquid level that way, but the tank is too thick to see through even right up against my South-facing kitchen window with bright sunlight beaming in. I can't believe Kenmore put their name on a product like this. But thanks for writing anyway. :)
