Question and Answers

Q:

Range left front dual burner doesn't heat up. 66595154300 Kenmore Range, electric

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your burners are not working properly on your range. I did look into the model number you have provided and I have found information to assist  you.

The two parts that could be causing your burner not to work is the element itself or the control switch.
I would recommend replacing the element first, in which, should fix the issue. If the issue does not get resolved then the switch would be next. Usually these two parts can go out together.

Q:

My oven stopped working. Broil doesn't work either, but the burners work.

A:

Thanks for contacting manage my life about your range/oven model 665.95154300, sorry you are having a problem I will be glad to assist you. Based on the description you have provided I suspect the oven control has failed. This will however have to be confirmed by performing a few voltage tests. _Always disconnect power supply before servicing the appliance and when testing live voltage be sure to wear proper safety equipment (gloves and eye protection) also be aware of sharp metals on product_If you have the high quality testing equipment to test voltages, you should test the power coming from the main control to the bake and broil elements.  Test points for bake are Common to P1-2 and broil Common to P1-1. When control is set to Bake or Broil each should read 240 volts ac + _ 5%  If you read this power then the issue will be elements or wiring.

If you do not get the 240 volts ac the you must check the incoming to the board from common to P6-2 and P6-4 bake and broil respectively. If you have power coming in but not going out to elements the control is bad and should be replaced.
