New Part does not work 66592024101

A:

Thank you for your inquiry on your Kenmore Range, Model: 665.92024101. From reviewing the details on your model, from the description your giving it sounds as if the control board may be defective, or there is something else wrong with the range. If you purchased the part from SearsPartsDirect.com or from our SearsPartsDirect call center, then you can contact us at 1-888-205-0966 for further assistance on getting the part returned and exchanged. In the event you do get a second board and the problem still persists I would recommend you have a technician verify what part is needed to fix the issue.

Safety Warning: Before beginning the repair, disconnect the direct power supply to the dryer to prevent the risk of injury or any electrical shock.

If you don’t feel comfortable or confident in this repair, then you can have it repaired at home by a sears technician. I have the included a link to the website: Sears Home Services or call 1-800-469-4663.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I must assume your going to use the self cleaning feature. If you remove the oven temperature sensor from inside the oven cavity; the oven would not operate and it would display a fault code "F3/E0" indicating an open oven sensor. NOTE: Do not remove the oven temperature sensor.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The E1/F2 implies the touch panel is faulty or the key tail attaching the touch panel to the oven control has come loose. It may not need the oven control board. I provided an image below with the instructions for removing the oven control board. Once the control board has been removed you will have access to the touch panel.

NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing your range.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
