Q:

Oven 66575822001 Kenmore Gas freestanding range

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your range and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 66575822001 and from your description I would suspect that the igniter is not completing the ignition process. Here is a link that will help test the igniter. If both the broil and bake do not ignite you may have an issue with the controller item 12. I have included a link to our Parts Direct page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link above to be taken to the page. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.

Q:

What is E1 F5 error on self clean cycle 66575822001 Kenmore Gas freestanding range

A:

Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com. I regret to hear that you are having issues with your oven and do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. Im looking at your model number 66575822001 and  the E1 F5 code indicates that the control senses that the oven door lock mechanism is not operating. The control will not start a self clean cycle unless it senses that the oven door is properly locked. Make sure that your oven door is properly closed when you start a self clean cycle. If the door switch is operating properly, then you could have a failed door latch switch or a bad door latch motor. You could also have a failed oven control board that is causing this problem. I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair this type of problem. I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link above to be taken to the page.
