A:

Thank you for your question. The F7 error code indicates an inverter failure. This can sometimes by caused by a power surge or glitch through the electrical lines. You can sometimes clear this fault by completely unplugging the microwave for 1 minute. Plug it back in and see if the fault code returns. If it does, then you have an internal component failure that will need to be serviced by a technician. Due to the inherent dangers involved in repairing microwaves it is strongly recommend that a service technician service the microwave. Internal capacitors can retain a lethal electrical charge even though the unit is completely unplugged. A microwave radiation leakage test must be performed on the unit following any internal component repair.

We will give repair instructions on any other appliance that a customer can safely handle.

You can have the microwave repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .

Q:

My microwave runs but wont heat. When I tried to use the sensing button for frozen vegetable the MW turned on for about 2 seconds, shut off & flashes F3H. Why?

A:

The error code F3H indicates a failure in the moisture sensor of your microwave. This problem can be caused if the moisture sensor is disconnected, or has failed. It can also be caused by a failure in the control board.

This can be repaired, I recommend having a service professional look into this for you.
