Hello Eve; thanks for the added information about your product, the f2 code indicated a problem with the touch membrain and the control board. Unfortunatelt our policy does not allow us to assist any further iwth microwave repairs. Microwaves contain high-voltage components that can retain a lethal electrical charge of up to 2200 VAC -- even when the microwave is unplugged. Repairs and adjustments, even minor ones such as replacing fuses, can cause microwave leakage. A microwave shielding leakage test should be performed after any microwave service. It is for these safety reasons that we are unable to guide you in microwave repairs and instead recommend that you carry the unit into a Sears Store or Sears Repair Center for service by a qualified repair technician. You can visit this website for information on the nearest drop-off locations in your area: Sears Home Services. We thank you for your understanding in this matter and hope we can help you with other questions and repairs in the future. Sears Home Services Ron H.

Q:

My Kenmore microwave/hood combo's handle broke off. Model #66560619000. What parts do I need to order?

A:

It does sound like there may be a bit more damage than the door handle. The expert will review and respond, but you might want to think about having a qualified technician make repairs due to the high voltage in a microwave. You definately want to make sure the case is secure. I attached the link to Sears Home Services if needed.

Although we provide repair help for almost every other appliance, we do not provide that type of help for most microwave repairs. Replacing the handle on that microwave door will require a technician. Microwaves contain high-voltage components that can retain a lethal electrical charge of up to 2200 VAC -- even when the microwave is unplugged. Repairs and adjustments, even minor ones such as replacing a door handle, can cause microwave leakage. A microwave shielding leakage test should be performed after any microwave service. It is for these safety reasons that we are unable to guide you in microwave repairs and instead recommend scheduling service with a qualified service technician. You can schedule service online with Sears Home Services or by calling 1-800-4-MY-HOME. We thank you for your understanding in this matter and hope we can help you with other questions and repairs in the future.
