Question and Answers

Q:

Dimensions for a Kenmore Oven/Microwave combo model# 665.4493393

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I'm sorry but we do not have the cut out specs or the dimensions of this model wall oven. The only other solutiion is to remove the oven and then measure the dimensions of the cut out. I added a link to Sears.com where you can shop and compare features and sizes of the wall oven and microwave combinations.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

Ken more wall oven/microwave combo 6654493393 Kenmore Elec built-in oven and microwave

A:

Thank you for choosing ManageMyLife.com and allowing us this opportunity to be your service provider. It is always an inconvenience when we experience an issue with a major appliance like yours. I am sorry, but we do not give repair information on micro-wave ovens because they are inherently dangerous to service. Micro-waves contain high voltage internal components that can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the micro-wave is completely unplugged. Door repairs and adjustments, even minor ones, can cause microwave leakage, and a microwave shielding leakage test must be performed using a survey meter after any microwave service. That is why I strongly warn you to have this repair handled only by a qualified service technician. The average life expectancy of a micro-wave is nine years. My research shows that your product is about 19 years old. Sometimes it can be more cost effective to replace rather than repair this type of appliance. You can have it- repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Click here to schedule service at the Sears Home Services website.

A 10% discount coupon is available when service is set online.

Normally at ManageMyLife.com we like to help you with all of your repairs, but our expert advice is that microwaves are just too dangerous.
Thanks again for choosing ManageMyLife.com

Q:

Error Codes 665.4493393

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I understand how important it is to know what the error codes are on your range. The F1 code indicates an error with the control board that can be caused by the temperature sensor probe. The F3 code indicates a faulty temperature sensor probe. If you have an ohm meter and are comfortable with using it, I recommend testing your probe. If the probe measures approximately 1050 to 1100 ohms (at room temperature), the oven control board may need replacing. If you need to replace the parts, the original part number for the probe is 4365550 and the control board is 3184943 or substitution part # RFR-CCS.
SAFETY NOTICE: Be sure to disconnect power to the appliance before performing any repairs. If you are not comfortable with doing any voltage checks that might be recommended, please contact your local service provider for repairs. Be aware that there could be sharp edges inside the appliance that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others.
If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services
If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread  and I will be glad to assist you further. Thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
