Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Part of your last sentence was incomplete in the question title so I will assume you have adequate water supply at the water inlet valve. If you are not getting water to the water inlet valve; the shut off valve could be restricted under the sink.

The water inlet valve requires 120 volts in order to open. Since the water inlet valve measures continuity it can still be faulty and not open. The next component to check for continuity is the safety float switch. The float switch is located beneath the tub which will be located under the float assembly. The float is located in the right front corner of the tub. If the float is stuck in the up position it will break the circuit to the water inlet valve and not fill.

Check the float switch and if it's Okay; the voltage will need to be checked at the water inlet valve when the timer is in the fill cycle. NOTE: I do not recommend checking voltage unless you have experience and feel safe and confident in doing so; otherwise I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your dishwasher.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired by a Sears technician. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations: Sears Home Services .

Q:

Kenmore dishwasher 6651765991 model

A:

It is always a little bit difficult keeping track of your owners manuals because there are just so many. A very handy instrument that Manage My Life has is you are able to find your owners manual here at no cost to you. All you have to do is go to the top of the page and click on the tab that says "MANUALS" a search box should come up and in there you can go ahead and type in your model number. Your owners manual should be available for you to view. I have attached a link below if you are interested in viewing while you are waiting on your response from an expert. Hope this helps, good luck!
