Thank You for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com and being a valued member. It is unfortunate to hear that you are having issues with your dishwasher and I do understand your frustration. Glad to help out. I'm looking at your model number 66517582200 and if the "Quick rinse" led is flashing; this would indicates a button without an led light is stuck or multiple buttons are stuck or shorted. There is not a test for the console with the active overlay so I would have to suggest replacing the control panel to resolve the issue. If the control detects that a key is stuck in the depressed position, dishwasher operation is suspended and the control will flash the light for that key until corrected. You can try to press Cancel/Drain. If that does not clear, you can try to carefully unplug the control ribbon, lift, then reinsert. The first image below will help access the control and ribbon.

First unplug or shut off the breaker to the dishwasher. If the condition continues, then it may be a bad connection or wiring requiring further tests. If you have an ohm meter and wish to check yourself the second image below contains the keypad test instructions. The keypad or control board may need to be replaced. I would recommend having a technician make these checks and repairs. I trust this information will help you.

Thank you for choosing Sears PartsDirect.com.
