Thanks, I've linked to the part and have an image of the schematic. What I'm trying to figure out is how to get the solenoid driver BACK into the dispenser mechanism. I've taken the front panel off but there doesn't appear to be enough space to slide it under and I can't take the control panel off and back into it that way. I don't know where it shows the solenoid hanging down from the control panel but will keep looking.

The actuator for the dispenser is located behind the front panel. There are a limited number still available and once their gone there will be no more. It is held in place by a screw. This is an older model so illustrations and pictures are not available. The parts breakdown in the image below may be helpful to you. The service test can be activated in the following manner: Close the detergent doot, Press Start, Cycles, Delay, Cycles, Delay all within 5 seconds. The test should last about 25 minutes. Something else to try if the dispenser door doesn't open try this: Enter the test and then press the start keypad till 23 is in the display. Wait for the timer to count down to 22 and see if the dispenser door opens. You might also want to take a look at new dishwashers. Check out the following link: New Dishwashers . I hope this helps. You can reply with any additional details for further assistance.

This is such an old model I have no images showing this dispenser. There is a lever, part key 43, that should catch the dispenswer door when shut. The actuator should move the lever to open the door. An images you can send would be appreciated.

I know that it can be very frustrating to have problems with your dishwasher. The PF code is indicating that the dishwasher has suffered a Power Failure. You clear this you will need to press the cancel button twice. If this does not work, than it is most likely that the control board has failed and will need to be replaced. I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
