Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with no water entering the dishwasher. We are here to help. The water not entering dishwasher is usually caused by a stuck float or a bad water valve. Also, make sure the water is not turned off to the dishwasher. To check the float, open the door and slide the bottom rack onto the door. Next, lift the float up and down several times. If the float was stuck in the up position, you may have found the problem. The image below is a picture of the float. After moving the float several times, slide the bottom rack in place and close the door. Now, start a cycle. Did the dishwasher fill with water? If that did not solve the problem, the water inlet valve is not opening or no power to the valve. To check for voltage to the valve, attach the probes of a multimeter to the wire connections on the valve. Next, turn on the dishwasher and check the meter for 120 vac. If the voltage is present, replace the valve. However, no voltage indicates a break in the wire or a bad timer.  The second image shows how to replace the water valve. I hope this helps.
