Q:

Can you help me identify a part for my dishwasher?

A:

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I looked at the image of the part you found and no one here has ever seen this part or whatever it is. I can say it did not likely come off the dishwasher. That thing could have been there from day one. It could have fallen from someone at the factory and it dropped and landed there.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

Kenmore Elite DW 665.16593200 control panel issue

A:

It can be very frustrating when your dishwasher begins to flash codes and not function properly. I did some research and provided a link to a similar question and answer on our site. I hope this will shed a little more light on the issue until the Expert responds to your question in more detail within 24 to 48 hours.

From the description I suspect the control panel has a stuck or shorted keypad. First I suggest you check if the control lock feature has been turned on. This is controlled by pressing the Air Dry keypad for 3-5 seconds to turn the control lock feature on or off. If this doesn't work then I suggest you next access the ribbon connector on the main control and disconnect it for a moment then reconnect it. If a better connection on the ribbon doesn't help then the console will most likely need to be replaced. Remember to turn the power off first.
