Q:

why do my dishes not dry 66516592201 Kenmore Undercounter dishwasher

A:

Thank you for choosing sears I would be happy to help you with your dishwasher. Upon researching model66516592201; it sounds like the heat element may not be working properly, the heat element produces enough hot air to dry the dishes, but when the element fails the dishes will not dry. The heat element can be tested by disconnecting the dishwasher power cord and checking the element for continuity. (using a multimeter) I have posted a ink below of the heat element.

I trust this information will help you, have a great day.

Q:

dishwasher model 66516592201 does'nt run. 66516592201 Kenmore Undercounter dishwasher

A:

Hello Tim. I am sorry to hear about this problem that you are having with your Kenmore dishwasher. I apologize for the experience that you had with the Sears PartsDirect agents.

Your symptoms indicate that you have a stuck key on the key panel. I posted instructions for checking that key panel using a volt/ohm meter. Shut off the house circuit breaker for the dishwasher to completely disconnect electrical power before accessing internal components.

If you are viewing this answer on the Sears PartsDirect website, then you will likely need to visit this Manage My Life page to view the image that I posted:  dishwasher model 66516592201 does'nt run. 66516592201 Kenmore Undercounter dishwasher

You will normally need precision probes (needle probes) to properly check the keys on that control panel. If any of the keys are bad, then the control panel will need to be replaced.

If you need more help, let us know.
