A:

To troubleshoot the dishwasher, disconnect the power to it and remove the door panel to access the controls. The thermal fuse is located on the electronic control board. Check the continuity of it first.

Remove one wire from the door switch and test the switch contacts with an ohm meter. The contacts should close when the switch is activated and open when not activated.
