Question and Answers

Q:

Dishwasher with no poer 665.16034401

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be happy to help with your dishwasher. Upon researching model 665.16034401; the thermal fuse should close the circuit. Check the door switch for continuity. The power goes through the thermal fuse and then to the door. It will go to the control board after the door switch. It is harder to test the board. Usually there is an issue with it if you’re getting power to the board but nothing lights up or happens when you push a button.

Thank you for choosing Sears. We appreciate your business. Have a great day.

It can be very frustrating when your dishwasher will not wash the upper rack properly. I did some research and provided a link a similar question and answer on our site. I hope this will give you a better idea on the next step to take until the Expert responds to your question in more detail within 24 to 48 hours.

I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your dishwasher. The first thing I would check is the upper spray arm rotation & docking port. As you slide the upper rack in make sure the feed tube is centered over the rear supply conduit outlet port. This is the only way the upper rack receives water for the upper spray arm. Be sure you do not have a dish handle or something causing the spray arms to stall out. Next check the water level inside the dishwasher. Start a cycle and allow the dishwasher to fill. As soon as the filling stops, crack the door open to stop the cycle. Open the door and observe the water level in the bottom of the tub. The water level should be within 1/4" to just touching the bottom of the heating element in many models of conventional dishwashers. The last thing that I would suggest, is to clean out the filter and the sump pump. The image below will provide the information on how to access this. If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, just click on this link to schedule service: Sears Home Services . I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I added link below that will explain why the clean light is flashing and how to clear the flashing clean light. This might help resolve your issue. If you can get me the complete model number I can help you troubleshoot in more detail.

How do I reset my Kenmore dishwasher that has a green clean light flashing 7 times and repeating?
