(Continuing the description of what the washer does.) Trying to run the dishwasher again last night, it only ran for 28 minutes out of 90 minutes that the display stated it was going to run on the orange-red letter display on the console. Opening and closing the door resulted in running to about 45 minutes and then it went off again. My wife said to check the water which had not been pumped out for soapiness--it wasn't soapy.--Cyril

From your description, the most likely issue will be a faulty control board/microcomputer. You can try resetting the unit by disconnecting it from the outlet or by switching off the designated circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. If that doesn't work, the microcomputer will need to be replaced. The microcomputer can be purchased at Sears PartsDirect .

The system is showing this unit was manufactured in 1999. Dishwashers have an average lifespan of 11-13 years. The microcomputer alone will run $130. It may be more cost effective to replace the dishwasher with a new energy efficient model. I hope this helps.

What would be the price of my dishwasher today, (15955792), in comparison with those being sold now? Which model will give me the fewest problems?? For Kenwood Model number 1304 (approximately), 10 reviews reveal quite a few dissatisfied customers. --Cyril

Due to the age of your unit, I was not able to access the price of what your dishwasher originally sold for. No matter what brand of dishwasher you choose, 2% of all appliances will have issue. Your best bet would be to check out Consumer Reports on the newer dishwashers to help make your determination of which one to buy. I hope this helps.

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it can be installing the wheel assemblies on a dish rack. We are here to help. I am providing you with the instructions on installing the wheels. The wheel snaps onto the rack. It does take a lot of force to snap it onto the rack. You can view a picture of the wheels in the images below, to compare to what you have. I hope this helps.

Your assistance has not been helpful. I need to find the correct mount that will accept the tapping screw that was sent with the replacement mount. This is very frustrating and I have been without a dishwasher for close to a month.
