The Quick Wash is a short wash cycle but it still requires a rinse water temperature of 140 degrees to advance out of water heat.

If it is stalling for 90 minutes then I suspect the water is not being heated. This can be a problem with the element, thermostat or control.

I would suggest the next time the cycle hangs up open the door and try to determine how hot the water is.

Before starting the cycle be sure to run the faucet till hot water shows up before starting the cycle.

Check the water temperature and reply with any additional details for further assistance.

Ref "Before starting the cycle be sure to run the faucet till hot water shows up before starting the cycle," I've always hooked dishwashers up to the cold & I think most other people do the same.

Thank you for choosing ManageMyLife.com and allowing us to help you. The detergent door is triggered when water sprays on the detergent door. If the door is not opening, something is blocking the path of the water. Perhaps a dish that is too tall. I recommend all tall dishes put as far back as possible.
See if that helps. The lower rack may be blocking the dispenser lid or spray of water to the dispenser. Some type of Mechanical binding of the dispenser lid could be the issue. The lid latch can bind due to detergent buildup in the mechanism. A loose wiring harness in the dispenser circuit is another possible cause. An open circuit in dispenser dual wax motor or faulty dispenser drive circuit on control. If nothing is blocking the dispenser or spray arm, there is no residual detergent buildup, then resistance checks will need to be made between dispenser and control and dispenser dual wax motor terminals.  Since the checks coming from the control are normally checked live by the technician, I highly recommend having a technician make any resistance and continuity checks inside.

SAFETY NOTICE: Be sure to disconnect power to the appliance before performing any repairs. If you are not comfortable with doing any voltage checks that might be recommended, please contact your local service provider for repairs. Be aware that there could be sharp edges inside the appliance that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others. Wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts.
