Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

To remove the lower spray arm you will need to hold the spray arm from rotating and turn the spray arm nut clockwise (CW) until you can lift the spray arm off.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Q:

Why won’t my Kenmore dishwasher turn on?

A:

If nothing lights up and there is no display at all the first thing to check is the wall switch if the dishwasher has one. Some dishwasher have a power switch on the wall next to a light and disposal switch. It is not impossible for the switch to be turned off by mistake and no one realize it.

If you don't have a wall switch or if it is not turned off then the most likely cause of this problem is an open thermal fuse. The wiring diagram in the image below will help with this problem.

If the thermal fuse is open then there will be no display and the dishwasher will not run.

A volt/ohm meter is the best way to check the 8193762 thermal fuse if you have access to one and are comfortable using it. Check resistance across the fuse and if the circuit is open then replace it. The 8193762 fuse can be obtained from the following site: SearsParts Direct .

The 2nd image below shows how to access the thermal fuse.

Finally you can remove the lower access panel, see the 3rd image below, and check the wire nuts on the wires at the junction box are still tight.

I hope this information is helpful to you but submit another question with any additional details for further assistance.
