Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I do not have enough information to know if the motor is operating or not. The dishwasher has one pump and motor. The motor runs one direction to wash and it reverses direction in order to pump the water out. If the motor will operate when Cancel/Drain is pushed then I would suspect a blockage inside the check valve. The check valve is threaded into the lower side of the sump area and the drain hose is connected to it. The check valve can be removed and cleaned. The port where the check valve is threaded into should also be checked for any debris. I added a YouTube video showing how to access and remove the check valve assembly .

If the motor will not operate when Cancel/Drain is pushed, it could have an open winding in the motor or a faulty electronic control board.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

A:

There is one detail that you don't mention and may have been overlooked.

When you order and replace the 675806 impeller kit you should also order and replace the 675703 seal kit.

From the description you give the seal kit was not ordered or replaced and may be the source of your trouble.

The images below may be helpful to you.

If there are any additional details I may be able to help you further.

Q:

How can I get the control lock off on my Kenmore dishwasher model 665.15867990?

A:

That is the correct button to push to turn the control lock off. You can try to reset the control by removing power for two minutes. If the dishwasher is doing the same thing, most likely the touch pad has a shorted button or a bad connection on the unit control board. To check touch pad connection you will have to open the console. You will want to turn the power off to the dishwasher first. I have provided you a systematic guide on how to open the console. Once the console is open, remove and install the ribbon cable a few times. Now put the door back together and restore the power. If the dishwasher works, it was just a bad connection on the ribbon cable. If the console is doing the same thing, it could be a console or a unit control faulty. I recommend the console first.
