Thank you for your question.  I am sorry you are having a problem with your Kenmore 665.15835793 dishwasher

If you have a light then the door switch and voltage are most likely okay. This particular model does not have a thermal fuse.

If the dishwasher will not do anything then I suspect the Timer is the problem.  The wiring diagram in the image below may be helpful to you.  If no water fills and the motor will not drain or run then the timer is likely at fault.  I would not expect several parts to fail at the same time.

You should try the drain cycle if you have not already done so.

You can reply below with any additional details for further assistance.

You can also have the problem repaired in your home by a Sears technician.  Here is the link: Sears Home Services Dishwasher Repair

Thanks for the question about your dishwasher model 665.13823k601 that is not cleaning dishes. I will be happy to assist with this.

If I understand your question correctly, the center hub does not move but the spray tower around the center hub does move freely. This spray tower is controlled by water pressure from the motor and pump located under the tub of the dishwasher.

A couple things to check; if the spray arm is not moving then the dishwasher will not clean properly.( the upper spray arm included) This can be caused by low water level, clogged spray arm , or pump failure. The most common of theses is low water level in tub. There should be, after the fill cycle a minimum of 1 1/2 inches of water in bottom of tub,( side to side front to back.) Low water is normally caused by a faulty water inlet valve or low water pressure supplied to the dishwasher from your plumbing.

Check to see if water supply is turned on all the way. Also check the spray arm for debris clogging the spray holes (clean if needed.) If you determine that water level is good and spray arm is not clogged then I would suggest a technician. If you should need further assistance after theses checks reply with more details.

Thanks Ron H.

Q:

I have a Kenmore dishwasher model 66515835793. The door lock botton stays on. None of the controls work. I tried the reset and wash button.

A:

Dishwashers are the best appliance to have especially when you have so many dishes to wash. While you are waiting on an expert to answer your question, I found your owner's manual in the Manage My Life website. I have attached the link below. Hope this helps!

Try to unlock the controls using the procedure shown in the image below. Count slowly when holding down that No Heat Dry button. I see that Dezeray S. posted the link for your owner's manual in the above response. That manual may help you with additional basic troubleshooting.

If you cannot unlock those controls, then you may need to replace the control panel board (part 3379320R) or the main control board (part 8051136). Here is a link for the control panel board: Control Panel Microcomputer for Kenmore Dishwasher 665.15835793 . Here is a link for that main control board: Main Control Microcomputer for Kenmore Dishwasher 665.15835793 . Be sure that you shut off the house circuit breaker for the dishwasher before accessing internal components. Here is a link for a repair video that shows how to access those components: Dishwasher Control Board Replacement . If you need more help, reply with additional details.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .
