Hi Audrie,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I am sorry you are having problems with your dishwasher.

The part number you were given is incorrect. Part number 3378149 is the door strike. The mounting hardware is part of the tub frame, it is unavailable separately.

If there is enough of the bracket left on the tub that you can drill into it, you can fashion a bracket yourself with plumbers strap tape. But, if you do not have enough metal left this will not work. Do not drill into the water containing part of the tub.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Thanks again for using Manage My Life.

From the description you give, the problem started two washes ago and only affects the upper rack.

I'd suggest first checking the water level. It should be just up to the element. Make sure there is not an excessive amount of soap in the tub.

If you haven't already then I'd suggest getting into the pump and checking for clogged filters or broken wash impellers.

The images below so a similar model and should be helpful to you.

There is no cover for the upper spray arm.

One trick to try first is to place similar cups in each corner of the upper rack. Run a rinse cycle and after a couple of minutes check the water level in each cup.

I hope this information helps but reply with any additional details for further assistance.

Fred, thanks for the suggestions. The water level is just shy of the element. Also, both arms were totally clean (actually everything so far is pretty spotless). I'm trying to check for clogged filters now. From the top, the impeller seems to be fine, no cracks BUT trying to get that center screw/hex? out is becoming impossible. I've tried everything but it's in there solid. Any suggestions? I can't go any further if I can't get this off. Appreciate your help!

If the screw won't come off then it will end up being stripped and have to be drilled out or the impeller will have to be broke to get the screw loose.

Fred, thanks, I managed to get it off by holding the impeller with a wrench and turning the screw. It took a few tries but it worked.
