Why does your Rack Adjuster Kit look different from my dishwasher's? 66513949K010 Kenmore Elite Undercounter dishwasher

I am so sorry the wheel broke off. And I understand your concern about the difference between the original part and the replacement kit. I will be happy to help you with this.

The rack adjuster kit you received is made to work with your dishwasher. It replaces the plastic adjuster with a stronger stainless steel one. The kit includes the parts to replace both the left and right sides. The instructions are in the kit for a do-it-yourself repair.

I am sorry to hear of the power issue you are having with the dishwasher, I know how frustrating that is to have occur.
Since you have verified power from the power source, it's likely the thermal fuse/bi-metal has opened. I would test the fuse for continuity and replace if necessary. It's within the console by the control board. Just remember to turn off power before accessing. 
If the fuse tests fine, you may have an issue with the electronic control or the electrical ribbon connection going to the panel. I would recommend testing these components if the fuse checks out. 
There should be 2 wires supplying voltage to the control board. One wire is Tan in color and it will be connected to P8 terminal, the other voltage supply is connected to P2-6 and it will be Black with a White stripe. You will need to check voltage at these two wires to the White wire connected to P7 connector. If 110-120vac is verified at these two points the most likely failure is the interface board. One end of the Black wire with White stripe will connect to the thermal fuse. If the thermal fuse is open the dishwasher will be dead.

Based off of your description, it sounds like you're experiencing an issue with shorted or stuck keys on the touch pad. If you have an ohms/volt meter you can perform a key test to verify the part (image one). You'll need to replace the touch pad (W10500153) not the main control board.
