Thank you for your question.

I can understand wanting the kitchen appliance to match.

I think you have all the parts and panels you need to convert this dishwasher to a stainless and black appearance.

Yes there is some wire harnesses that you will have to change out on the control panel.

This should not be very hard since all the parts will convert to the new black panel.

  • First remove the screws that secure the front panel.

  • Then remove the screws that secure the console to the door.

Remove the screws that secure any and all parts to the door in order.

I would recommend that you have a second set of hands to help you so you do not damage any of the components as you take them out and install them back into the new console.

  • I would recommend that you make notations of where the entire wire hook up on the electronic control and the door switches before you remove them. The electronic ribbon connects to the electronic control board.

  • With the old console removed change out the door switches and the door release handle assembly.

  • Install the electronic controls and the ribbon strip from the console to the electronic controls.

This is just a matter of taking your time and going step by step to remove and replace these parts.

I hope this was of some help as this is not a usual job by a consumer.

If you need further help please reply and I will help you further.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

This is not a normal complaint but there are somethings to consider.

You don't indicate if the dishes have food left on them or do they have a white film left.

Film can be from suds in the water or form the water itself if it is hard. Soap film will generally rinse off with out much effort but hard water film may appear to rinse off but will return as the dishes dry.

Food particles are the result of not enough water or the water not hot enough.

Check the drain line is correctly installed with an air gap. If there is no air gap then a siphon may occur. You might check the water level in the dishwasher and then check it again and make sure it is the same.

Another trick you might try is to place small cups in each corner of the lower and upper rack. After running a few minutes check the water level. Each cup should have approximately the same amount of water.

After a cycle the tub should have steam in it if the water is heating up. Low water temperature is another reason the dishes might not get clean.

The filters may need to be cleaned. The images below will how how to get into the sump of the dishwasher.

I hope this information is helpful to you but with some added detail I can most likely help you further.
