Kenmore Elite Dishwasher - Wash Cycle Doesn't Stop 66513852K602 Kenmore Elite Dishwasher

A:

Thank You for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com

I understand your frustration when your dishwasher is not working correctly and you can get it into the dry cycle. Based on the information you have provided the problem is with the control board. The control board is responsible for all the cycles. Unfortunatly there is no simple fix to this. You would need to replace it. I have included a link to our PartsDirect page where you can purchase the part you need to complete your repair. Just click the blue link below to be taken to the page.

Q:

Kenmore dishwasher cancel light blinking

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your dishwasher is not working properly. I did look into your Owner’s Manual and I do show troubleshooting help. Is it the Resume/start button or is it the clean light that is blinking? If it is the Clean light that is blinking the manual states that the dishwasher has malfunctioned and you would need a technician to come look at it. Also if you have reset the unit and the unit still does not work, I would recommend a technician to come and take a look at it so they will be able to diagnose the issue.

Thank you for your question. Have a great day.

From the description you give I wonder if the hum you hear is from the motor.

If the water is not circulating then the sump of the motor might have clogged filters or a broken wash impeller.

The 1st image will show you how to get into the sump to check filters and for any obstructions.

The 2nd image will show how to access and remove the wash motor is needed.

I hope this helps but please reply with any additional details for further assistance.

From the partial model number this dishwasher has a motor that runs one way to wash and reverses direction to drain. If the dishwasher will fill with water then the door switch is likely okay. Since the unit is new I suggest you let service take a look at it. There should be some additional numbers on the model number. Please check and reply with a complete model number for further assistance.
