Q:

Dishwasher 665.13734K600 ... leaks from vent after opening door.

A:

It is very frustrating having to deal with a leaking dishwasher. I have taken some time to research your question here on the Manage My Life website and I noticed that someone else had asked a similar question with a posted response from an expert. I attached the link below for you to view. I hope the link that I provided is helpful. Have a nice day.

Thank you for you question. Water dropping from the vent is normal however a 1/4 cup is unusual. The amount of water can vary depending on the load. The more steam that is generated in the cycle, the more water that will come out of the vent. The steam can condensate once it enters the vent and not drain back into the tub of the dishwasher.

I have had some customer us a no heat dry option and the amount of water out of the vent was greatly reduced.

If the vent were defective, steam would not come from the vent in a dry cycle. If you believe there is a problem with the vent, I recommend calling a service technician out the double check the functions of the dishwasher. I hope this is helpful. Thank you for using Manage my life.
