Question and Answers

Q:

Rubber piece off door 66513222K600 Kenmore Dishwasher

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your door on your dishwasher does not open easily. I did look into the model number you provided and I do show an oval piece near the door.  When the door does fly open or just drops it means that your springs on your door are worn out and causing your door not to have any friction. The oval piece you may be looking at could be the spring bushing that connects to the side of the spring. I would recommend replacing both door springs as well as the bushings so your door does not open fast and drop quickly. Click here to view the diagram of the parts. If you need to order the springs click here. If you need to order the bushings click here. Let me know if this helps.

Thank you for your question. Have a great day.
