Thank you for your question on the RW 19000.

Do you have the 93300 customizer program for 19010 ergo3, to link to your computer?

I am not sure why your new computer will not recognize your serial port on the RW 93200 but it does sound like a compatibility problem or you may have to do some different settings on the computer.

You might want to call 1-800-637-0183 customer support line to see if they can help you with this problem.

Please let me know if they have helped you and tell me what happened.

Sam A.

Thank you for your question.

I am sorry that you reciprocating saw has stopped running.

It could be a number of things, so lets start with the easy things first.

Check the power cord to make sure it is not cut or broken.

If the spark came from the inside then first remove each of the brush caps on the side of the motor and look inside and examine the brushes and the holders.

If they check ok then it could be the switch that is bad and you will have to split the case in order to check the switch contacts.

If this unit is under warranty I would suggest that you take it to the local service repair.

If it is not under warranty I would suggest that you split the case by removing the two handle halfs and this will get you to the switch and the area of the brushes and rotor.

I have included a part breakdown below.

I hope this will help.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Thank you for your question.

I can understand your concern with the slack belt and not seeing any tension adjustment.

  • This system for the drive belt on this belt sander does not incorporate a tension device.

  • The belt is suppose to be the right length to slip onto the cogged sprockets with little to no slack.

  • If you are looking at the old belt it may have aged and stretched. If you are looking at a new belt I would say it is the wrong replacement belt.

  • I notice in the parts list pricing it states that the replacement belt comes as a kit.

Sam, The belt I received had part number 989368-000 on the packing slip. Either they put the wrong belt in the pakage or there something else we have not considered. Please advise what we can do to futher trouble shoot and fix this issue. It sounds like I have been sent the wrong belt. I need SEARS to replace the belt at no additional cost. The other thing it could be is if the bearings are loose on the drive roller or the armature bearing. But I would have thought that you would have said something if that was the case. So my thinking is that you received the wrong belt in the package, even though you have the correct part number on the invoice. My advice would be to call the Parts Direct line and talk to them about the return of the old part and have them check on the new part to make sure they are sending the right part in the package. Be prepared to give them specifications off the old belt if you still have it a specifications how much to long the replacement belt is. I hope this will help with your belt issue. Thank you for using Manage My Life.
