The normal rinse water temperature for this dishwasher is 150 degrees. The final rinse temperature can be increased using the Dry Assist option. I do not believe that the temperature will increase above 165 degrees using that option. The Pots & Pans cycle does provide a certified sanitation of dishes according to NSF standards. I don't think that the dishwasher is designed to reach 180 degrees based on the information that we have. I hope that this is the information that you need. If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will try to assist you further.

Q:

Kenmore Dishwasher Temperature Capacity

A:

Clean dishes requires hot water to remove the grease and other built on food particles. If the water is not hot enough it might be a concern. The expert will review and respond for this model. I did locate two links that may provide some information to help. One is a previous expert post of water temp and the second is the owner's manual. See page 7. I attached the links below. I hope this information helps.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Your dishwasher will not reach a water temperature of 180 degrees. It will likely reach 150 degrees in the final rinse and that's only if the "Sanitized" indicator is illuminated. Pots and Pans would be the hottest cycle.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
