Question and Answers

Q:

Why is my Kenmore electric range stuck in the self cleaning cycle?

A:

On something like this we need to know if the lock motor is getting 120 volts. If the lock motor is getting 120 volts & is not unlocking, I suspect that the lock motor has failed. If the lock motor is not getting voltage I suspect a clock or wiring harness failure. Try setting up another self cleaning cycle but only let it run for a minute or two & then press stop/cancel, this should unlock the door unless their is further problems. If you have a volt meter please get back with us on this for further assistance.
