Thank you for submitting your question. I know this can be frustrating and installation is tricky sometimes. I did some research on this particular part and have found that this is not the right clock for your model. Sears does not carry the clock you need. I was able to go onto a neighboring repair and part site called Repair Clinic that has the part you're looking for. However, the part is on back order. The part number is 5303934089 priced at $281.60. This particular part from Repair Clinic will come with installation instructions. The older style clock may not have a ground wire on it which is why the new clock came with a jumper wire as you've described. I would check for a ground wire before installing the new clock. I recommend contacting our Sears Parts Direct team to have the incorrect part returned. I apologize for the inconvenience. If you require further assistance, please reply back to this thread with more details. Thank you for choosing Manage My Life.
