Question and Answers

Q:

Water softener won't pull brine 625348471 Kenmore Kenmore demand water softener

A:

Based on your details and symptom, the problem could be with the brine float assembly. I added a very good and useful link to Kenmorewater.com with a very good animation and troubleshooting. It will show how to test the brine float assembly by removing it and setting it in bucket of water. Watch the troubleshooting and symptoms for "Flooded Salt Tank. The problem coud also be in the rotary valve assembly too.

Q:

Water squirting out from wall drain valve 625348471 Kenmore Kenmore demand water softener

A:

I'm not sure that I follow what you're describing in your details. Here's a copy of the owner's manual for your water softener: Kenmore Water Softener Owner's Manual. I recommend that you refer to the owner's manual to check the water softener components. Section 5 of the manual has service information and diagnostic tests. Water should from from the water softener drain tube at certain times during the regeration process.

If you still need help after reviewing the information in the owner's manual, let us know.

Thanks for choosing Sears PartsDirect.
