Q:

How do you or can you trim Alberto Spruce shrubs? My shrubs, 6 foot tall and 2-3 feet at the base have overgrown their location

A:

Greetings! According to information I have read, your Alberta Spruce is rather intolerant of pruning. Confirmation of this fact is reported in a PDF file and referenced on page 618-3 just before the segment on pruning Pine. The document is from a University Master Gardener program. Please refer to the link below. I would be cautious of trimming this shrub at all... Best Regards!

Q:

What's the problem with this refrigerator?

A:

If it's not cooling at all and everything is running the problem will probably be in the seal system or with the compressor. If could be a restriction or low charge or the compressor may not be pumping. A technician will be required to make these checks. If this is the case and the system is out of the warranty, it would probably not be worth fixing. However, it depends on the condition of the unit, if its had a history of problems and the cost of the repair. A technician should be able to give you a cost estimate of the repair. For specific information about your refrigerator, you can resubmit your question with more details and please include a complete model number.
