Q:

Replace or repair mh6130xeq-1 or mh6130xeq1

A:

I am sorry you are experiencing difficulties with your Microwave. Microwaves contain high voltage internal components that can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is completely unplugged. Door repairs and adjustments, even minor ones, can cause microwave leakage and a microwave shielding leakage test must be performed using a survey meter after any microwave service. I strongly suggest that you have this repair handled only by a qualified service technician. I have provided a link To Sears Home Services if you decide to schedule service. If you think it may be cost effective to just replace the unit, I have also provided a link to the Microwave section of Sears.com to price out what a replacement would cost.

Just about any 30" wide over-the-range microwave will fit in that space. The image below shows the cabinet measurements that were required to install that Whirlpool microwave.

Since this involves a rental properly, I recommend that you replace that microwave with a moderately priced model. Here is a link for a reasonably priced Kenmore model: Kenmore Microwave Model 85032 . Here is a link for the installation guide for that Kenmore model: Kenmore Microwave Model 721.85032 Installation Instructions . You can use the information in that installation guide to make sure that the Kenmore microwave will fit properly in the cabinet of your rental property.

A repair of the microwave will normally cost almost as much (or sometimes more) than the cost of replacing the microwave. I recommend that you replace the microwave instead of having it repaired in this situation.

If you need more help, reply with additional details and we will assist you further.

Thank you for your question.

I have looked up the model number you have submitted. I am sorry I could not get the number to pull up. I do not believe this is a model number. If you could double check, the model number and reply below with all of the numbers you see on the model number tag. Once I have the model number I will be able to tell you if the bulb is meant to be replaced by the customer. If the cabinet has to be removed to access, the bulb a service tech should do this repair.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

The KW rating is normally provided on an electrical rating plate that is on the water heater. Look for that rating plate to see if it has the information that you are looking for.

If you cannot find the information that you need on the water heater, then the serial number will be needed to determine the KW rating for this water heater. I recommend that you call American Water Heater directly at 1-800-999-5210. Have your serial number and the model number ready. An agent at that number should be able to provide the rating information that you need.

If you need more help from us, reply with additional details (including the serial number) and we will try to assist you further.
